I put it in my hair while it's wet, then blow-dry, straighten with a flat iron and to finish I run a little dab of Kerastase through my dry hair. It makes my hair smooth, silky and shiny without making my hair flat or greasy looking by the end of the day.
It's not about the shampoo you use, it's all about the styling product and this is the best one I've ever tried for straightening and relaxing frizz.

This product was recommended by my stylist. I have naturally wavy/curly hair that is very reactive to humidity and often looks dry and frizzy even though it is very healthy and not damaged. This is my peak "big hair" season, and I'm having no problems at all!!!!!! My hair is shiny and silky, but full of body....not weighted down at all. This product is on the pricey side, at least for me, but completely worth it!

I've been using Kerastase Serum Oleo-Relax for years and my hair literally is a mess without it! I have very thick, processed hair that I like to take good care of. When I apply this after my shower, it relaxes the coarseness and flyaways that drove me nuts before I ever used it! It makes my hair easier to work with and gives a nice shine at the end when dried. Every time I start running out out a bottle, I panic! However, don't use too much! I use one squirt and I have thick hair that goes to the middle of my back. I've made the mistake of over doing it and made my hair too greasy. A little goes a long way! I've tried many other serums and none of them work as good as this product! Worth every penny!

After hitting 50, I've become increasingly frustrated with my hair. I've been coloring it for a dozen years and have a feeling that it would probably be all gray by now. My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it ... it gets fuller/frizzier each year and no products seem to help calm it down. I switched to Kerastase shampoo a couple months ago, which certainly helped it look more healthy, but the volume of my hair was still too full. I just got this product a couple days ago and have used it twice ... it does a great job of smoothing my hair, reducing the fullness, leaves a nice silky shine and is not greasy. I don't use any other styling product except this when blow drying. Even my husband noticed the difference!

I am a bit unhappy about the price of this product. It is REALLY pricy. But I decide to pamper myself this time. Gee... I have no regret at all. I like the feel of the serum which is not greasy at all. After applied to the hair tip, not much left on my hand. I like the feel after I blow dry my hair. It is the best leave on hair product I have ever used.
